I've worked with and supported QlikView applications for a few years but now work only with Sense.
We have a client that uses some dashboards we built for them, and sometimes dataloads fail as a result of their own internal systems. In Qlikview I would have just set up failure notifications to mail out to me but it seems like there is no such functionality in Sense.
From discussing with colleagues it sounds like we can build something ourselves but I was wondering if anyone knew why this isn't possible out of the box and if anyone has any advice on the best way to build notifications using API connections, along with any pitfalls to watch out for.
