Forecast from current date to year end

Hello Experts,

I need help forecasting from current date to  year end. I have revenue, forecast revenue, expense and budgeted expense but am at a loss on how to calculate revenue and expense  from current date to year end.

I have tried sum(forecast revenue) but the numbers do not add up.

I would appreciate your help. Thanks

Do you have your data based on dates? I mean, maybe you can use set analysis such as sum({<date='>today' , date='<max(date)'>} forecastrevenue)

This would be wrong but the idea may work.

It is difficult to make a comment without seeing your data but you can check date functions and set analysis from help.qlik.com
