Has Qlik Dev removed the QSD download option ?

Hey all,

Anyone noticed or knows of an issue/change with Qlik Developer , download QSD file button pointing to the Qlik Community instead ?

Is this a Qlik policy change or de-implementation of QSD files for unlocking QS desktop ?

It's in the August 23 Initial Release section of GitHub:

You can always go to here:
https://github.com/qlik-download/qlik-sense-desktop/releases

And then open up each release in turn and find the latest copy of the unlock file.

This one is good until 28th November.

Hi all,

Any news of a new unlock ket as this on expire on 13 feb 24 ?

I checked git and I have a message error on the download page

I am interested to get a working Qlik Sense for a trainee till she get a entreprise account. It s really helpfull.

It's always very close to the expiry date, sometimes after, that the unlock key will appear. Often with the next release after the old one expires.

I've had a look and I can't see the current (with four days left!) key on the site, so this doesn't bode well.

It could well be that this way of unlocking Desktop has come to an end.

The best bet may be for her to fire up a trial of Sense, which I think you can still do from here:
https://www.qlik.com/us/trial/qlik-sense-business

This doesn't solve the genuine use cases where people need to use Sense where there is no connectivity (I have clients in Pharma companies and their reps need to be sure apps will work in hospitals where WiFi and mobile signal is always ropey) or for the next generation of Qlik developers, the script kids at college or university who want analytics for their assignments, but are not going to pay for it.

Ho hum.

Hopefully I am being overly pessimistic, and the new key will turn up soon.

TY for the link to the FAQ. Was able to get the page using Chrome.

Seems like you can add a trouble with Firefox 122 also 😕

Sound like we need to wait feb release and hope for a unlock file.
