Hi guys,
I have a column as follow:
Place:
France
Tunisia
Paris
London
etc
which means, that it contains both COUNTRIES and CITIES; are u aware of a method to tell QLIK to recognize both CITIES and COUNTRIES at the same time?
Or maybe divide the column to 2 than reassumble it..?
Hi Omar,
starting with this: List of towns and cities with 100,000 or more inhabitants/cityname: A - Wikipedia
the last character on the url is the first character of the complete cities.
so if you loop on all the url's (_A, _B, _C...) using a valuelist, you will have complete list of cities and Countries, with an if condition, you can easily split your original column into 2 separated (city, country) columns
