Hiding line with value

Dear all,

I am looking for a way to hide a row that meets certain criteria.

Right now I am using the "if" formula to get a "0" value and filter out the zero's. However, the sum of the total amount keeps on including the actual amounts of the lines that I gave a "0" value with the formula.

Greetings, Roy

Put the if formula in the dimension,
so it will show the dimension if the measure meets the certain criteria,
and turn off "include null values" in dimension.

Thanks for your reply Bunim.

It still continues to show the wrong total amount.

To be more clear a picture below. Let's say I want to leave the salaries out of the chart. Putting an if formula on the actual amount of salaries to make the amount 0 helps to not see the line but the original amount still counts in the totals of actual amount. After putting the formula in GL account (dimension) it stays the same
