Hello,
Seems like there is no "clear license" button in Qlik Sense as in QlikView.
So how to clear a license info just in case I would like to ?

Serhan
Hey Serhan,
Here is what I found from our product management team:
The hard part with this is finding a workable solution that allows the trial reset kind of scenario without giving out a free pass to reset licenses and abuse the system. If you decrease the amount of tokens used (say the trial had more than "they" ended up buying) then the system handles that ok. It eventually works it out. If you make a mistake in over using, for example if you do load testing, then we don't have a good way to reset. That said I would consider both of these cases none production scenarios. You can fully reset an environment to blank and providing you export your apps first you can re-import to get going again as you were before.
Hope this helps, if something is not clear - let me know and I will got back to our PM and gather more info.

Hi Serhan,
I don't believe you can clear the license via the QMC. I'm not sure where the LEF information is stored but I suspect it is in the repository. Did you have a particular use-case in mind? If your intention was to remove access you could remove or disable the relevant access rules.

Hi Rod,
There may be some a use case for example I would like to clear a license after a POC. And let's assume it is not trial.
It would be nice to have that option like in QlikView. I mean not having it is not normal I think.

Like Qlikview there should be the Clear license option for Qlik Sense, hope this is available someday.
Hi Guys - I reached out internally to gather some more info on this.

Hello Michael,
I understand the point. We should not expect it on the road map then.
Yes these are non-production scenarios but I still believe we may need that at some point, like an emergency brake. I can't think of any live use cases for now though.
