How to Make a Table with Row Span, using Pivot Table or something else?

Hi,

Does anyone know to make a table such as the screenshot below? My dataset structure is best fit for a Pivot Table in Qlik; however, I learned recently that a pivot tables do not have a "no aggregation" option.

Based on the above, can you please help me with:

  1. If I want no value aggregation, and if pivot table does not work, then what else to use?
  2. Also in a pivot table, how can I do the "nested" 2nd row dimension as a column of it's own? (in my sample above, it is the quarter value Q1, Q2..etc.) Please note that the main row does not have it's own value, values only per nested rows.

Thank you in advance!

Please explain where you run into trouble.

By how i intepret the description wou wrote I would say

  • Add company name as a dimension
  • Add Quarter as a dimension
  • Add the three measures Metric 1-3.
  • If you do not want to aggregate then maybe the aggregate function is what you need
  • Make sure that the two dimensions are placed as rows and your measures as columns.
