Hi,
I'm trying to connect to a production database in SQL Server but can't understand what is wrong. I have a service account and a password and tried different types of connections but nothing seems to work.
A colleague of mine tipped me off that I might have been using the wrong type of connection, after all I don't have a SQL user, but a service account I should be using something that includes Directory Services.
I can see that one of the providers is OLE DB Provider for Microsoft Directory Services. When selectin this option I get the following window (sorry it's in Swedish):
Basically, the first field is asking for the data source, the second for the place. Does anyone know what should be in the Place field?
