How to dynamically Assigning colors to master dimension values using excel or table

Hi everyone,

I have to assign colors to dimension values dynamically from excel or table. Because we are maintaining the color for each value in the table.

Kindly advise us to go forward.

You can define color code (rgb, hex) in variables in excel file.

Then use variables in color field in the first time, later all, you can change colors by changing values of variables.

Hi,

You need to create an excel file which has two columns(dimension values and color codes).

Then you need to associate this excel and your data through the dimension field. After that, you need to specify the color code dimension on the background color expression or text color expression tab.

I just recognized that qlik sense does not support dynamically assigning colors to master dimension.

Then, I think there is a way to do this is set color in chart instead with conditional statement and variable.

Hope it helps.
