How to study the data architect, data model and the front end of an already developed application?

Hello,

I have just joined as a fresher bi developer in a bank. They have provided us the access to their app which they had developed in the past. I need to study the app thoroughly but don't know how to start and where to start from. The app is regarding loans and there are like 90 tables 😮 any tips on how to understand the data model?
