I cannot Configure A data folder connection

Hi Team,

I would like to add data from a server location where i can access the path using provided locaTION \\servername\\foldername THROUGH RUN COMMAND.

Where i tried creating folder connection but could not see apart from DB sources kinda, nothing like folder to config possibilities.

Can any one let me know how to proceed with this query with my qmc administrator seems like i was restricted to create new folder connections using folder locations even though i have access to..

Hi, by default users are not allowed to create folder connections, they have only rad permisions, not create or update permission. Only users with admin rights can create that kind of connections.

So you need that your admin creates this kind of connections or ask to give you admin permissions to create them yourself.
