Bill - Here's one more workaround. I've installed on my local Windows 7 machine. Then copied the .exe from C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense to Windows 2008 server. It works as expected.

Hope this helps!

Cheers,

DV

Deepak: Thank you, you made my day, your trick worked like a charm!

Not happy with the FAQ and other sources though.

Cheers,

No problem Arthur. But watch out with process memory. It consumes loads of memory with the above approach. Might be my machine or for everyone. Anyway, something to watch out for...

Good luck!

You can't install, I'm afraid. Why don't work directly from the Server version? They're same anyway.

Hi, I am using Windows 10 in my local and my server is Windows Server 2012. I tried using the Qlik Sense Desktop using your method, but it's not working in my case in the server while in local windows 10 it works fine. After copying the .exe file to the server, when i try to launch QLik Sense Desktop, nothing happens. Any help appreciated!!
