Issue connecting to a Microsoft SQL Server

Hi all,
I am trying to connect a Microsoft SQL Server to Qlik Sense but am Connection Failed error.

When connecting through Microsoft SQL Server Management I only provide it with the server name, port, username and password. However, when providing the exact same values to Qlik Sense, the connection fails.

Does anyone have any experience with something similar? Is there any additional information that I should find for Qlik to connect successfully?

Thank you for your help.

To obtain such a log I downloaded the desktop version of Qlik Sense. However, just doing that ended up solving the problem, so thank you! 🙂

Hi @filiplamhauge ,

please share the connector log from the below folder

C:\Program Files\Common Files\Qlik\Custom Data\QvOdbcConnectorPackage\log

we will see if we can find anything from the log
