Legend with custom colors in a Stacked Bar Chart

Hello Community,

I have created a stacked bar chart and added custom colors by expression.

Now the legend option disappears. I want to display the legend.

Is there any possibility do display the legend with custom colors?

I'm not sure if this can be done with default Bar chart. The color expression code already has predefined color gradient and expression doesn't seem to work.

Maybe you can use an Extension which will allow you to do this?

I tried to reproduce yuor task. In my chart just changed the colors to custom ones, everything else is preserved. Maybe I did something wrong. Can it be possible to attach a sample as file QVF?

i have attached an example. If you go to "Colors and legend" there is no legend to display anymore.

I guess that's not possible.

I'd propose you mention the way you're coloring it in the title or a text object.

Using a title or a text is a workaround, but the question is, why would the legend disappear when colors are custom?

Is this a bug in Qlik Sense?

The thread is from 2017, maybe it has been addressed in new version. I'm currently using June 2019 and the problem is still there though.

This is a pretty basic feature miss. I'm disappointed to see it's not fixed yet.
