Map chart in Sense

I have data in which I have States x,y,z,a,b,c etc

I dont have data related to latitude and longitude.

I want my map chart to display sum(amount)

So can anyone explain me how to use the map chart

load your file with the load data manager; and before loading, click on PREPARE DATA, then do your reload.
With that qlik will automatically create geoData for you.

Choose a map, add a dimension, you'll find your state field that you can use, than, drag the amount field onto the map and add it as a measure.
