Maria DB

We want to connect with an Maria DB (MySLQ free) to Qlik sens Desktop. In the list is MySQL enterprice.

We did try to connect via this connector but get a general error. 

Does some one have more knowledge about this point?

Hi Andre,

Use MariaDB own proprietary driver instead to create the DSN:

https://downloads.mariadb.org/connector-odbc/

That will work

Did you try with odbc connection?

I applied ODBC and installed the MariaDB connector / driver in ODBC. This did not function. Then installed in ODBC the mysql driver. Then I was able to connect tot the MariaDB. So it would be great to see that Qlik made a connector to MariaDB.

ps the MySQL connector in the QLik sens list does not work on / with the MariaDB server.
