Master Item and Iframes

Is it possible to use Master Measures with Iframes?

Whenever I define an expression in a master item it will not display in my Iframe even though the expression works fine in the Qlik Sense app through the hub. The problem only occurs when I view the content through the Iframe.

On the left is the expected output (simple sum expression in a KPI) but on the right is how it is seen in the Iframe.

Every other chart works fine in the Iframe btw.

Any help is appreciated.
