Multiple fact tables sharing common dimension tables

Hi All,

I have two fact tables and 2 dimension tables like below. more fact tables will be added in the future. I am not interested in concatenating fact tables as of now.  We use columns from Location and Date dimension in both filters and charts. Just wanted to know if there is any issue in joining tables like below.  Will display data from multiple fact tables in the same chart.

you normally want to avoid synthetic keys, you can easily do this by concatenating the two fields everywhere it is used and link based on that.  leave the individual fields in the dimension table

You shouldn't to discard the approach of concatenating the fact-tables to easily. It's the easiest way and worked usually very well.
