Parsing text file

We have MSWord and/or Text files and want to load to Qlik as a data source. Once loaded, can Qlik search and parse the data from the file? We'd like to create a data model based on the files content. The content is similar and might have some headings.

Any advise that leads to the solution is appreciated.

You could certaily read and possibly parse a text file. Qlikview has quite a broad selection of string manipulation functions. Reading a Word document is not really practical as they are binaries (.doc) or zip files (.docx).

If you want advice, you wil need to describe your requirement in a lot more detail.
