Practice app for beginner to intermediate

I am looking to practice my new found knowledge and also learn by doing. I have just completed the Qlik Data Architect qualification exam and found that i learned more doing that then hours of videos and was wondering if anyone had any resources that would provide a similar challenge. 

finding data is easy but the attached challenges of reshaping that data is harder for me to come up with since my experience is very limited.
