QMC: The Users don't see the streams

Hi Folks,

i have a Question, my users don't see the streams where they can see the apps, althhough in the Setting: Analyzer Access allocation does look fine. Should i do any updates or where can i make any update or should i do any updates?

Thanks a lot in advance

Beck

Hi Beck

Have you created security rules for the streams? Just giving them a license doesn't mean they will see everything. You have to set up rules to say who can see what. You can either create a rule per stream (automatically pops up after you create a new stream in the QMC) or you can create generic rules which can be re-used (for example, if a user's 'department' attribute matched the stream's name, etc.).

Mauritz

Hi Beck

I guess that's possible. What I would do first is to look at the security rules screen and add the Last Modified column in the column selector. See if any of the rules changed in the last week. Are they generic rules or are the stream specific?

Hi Beck

You can click on the column selector (next to the Action button) and add the column.

If you sort this list then you can see the most recent changes, but unfortunately you can't see what has been changed, only that it's been changed. Obviously it won't show if any rules were deleted.
