QVD vs Binary Load vs In-App Data load vs ODAG

Hello Community,

I am learning different ways to bring data in Qlik app and below is my understanding

1. QVD - use when you want to cache the data and share the data with other apps.

2. Binary load - Bring data model from other app to new app

3. In-app data load ( not sure if there is a term for it) -  basically use the script in the app itself for bringing data.

4. ODAG - on-demand application enables users to select the parameter and pass into template app to generate lower level of data.

Based on above, wanted to check if my understanding of different ways is correct or not? Also is there any other way to bring data / blend data in QS? And finally is there any best practice to define which method to use when ?

Thanks

Manish
