Qlik.Printing.Sense.Service has stopped working

Hi Guys,

Since installing the June update on my desktop i have started getting this error and as soon as i close it, it pops back up.

"Qlik.Printing.Sense.Service has stopped working"

The only other solution on this site was because someone was running something called Lavastorm, which i am not. Does anyone have any suggestions? i have re-installed with no success.

Hi Alec,

Have you found the service in the task manager? Can you restart/end/start it?

I have however it just re-opens as soon as you end the task.

Can you generate the same report?

sorry, not sure where the report.wer file is or how to generate it?

You can find these in: C:\Windows\Temp\WER******

unfortunately there is nothing that looks like the report in the previous thread. the newest file doesn't contain any mention of Qlik at all. it seems to be about VNC agent, which is a remote desktop application. unfortunately I am unable to paste the text here as I am on a work laptop.

any other suggestions?
