I noticed after the update to the April 2018 Release all the published apps are showing on the "Work" area mixed with unpublished apps. Is there a way to fix this to that only unpublished apps will show in the work area ? Thank you, Marco
Hi Marco,
Same "challenge" here.
Got a load of published apps that I now see in both the streams as in 'My work".
Hope there is some kind of security rule setting for this.
Regards,
Roel
I am getting this too
I posted about this after I upgraded. The suggestion that I got which makes sense is to change the owner of the published apps to your service account. Then they will no longer show up in the user's work area.
OK thanks Mark
Thanks Mark. I tried this and it worked. So basically every time an app is published the owner will have to be changed manually. It would be nice to know if there is a security rule than be setup to not allow published apps to show in the work area.
Hi Mark,
Thanks, it's an obvious workaround but not a solution.
Sometimes work around are solutions. If you think about it a published app really shouldn't be owned by a regular user (developer). It should be owned by the system in most cases.
Before this release, published apps did not display in your work area. Even if you were the owner of the published app.
I'm not sure they really thought this one all the way through. Or maybe we just need to adjust and think about this differently than what we did before. Don't know the right answer.
Would be nice if it was a copy of the published app which you could edit and publish with one click. No chance of publishing over the wrong app anymore and always a development app ready to use.
I would also like to see a solution vs a workaround, and it would be very nice to have what Brian suggested.
