Qlik Sense - Connection Name

Hi All,

One of user facing below issue

The Connection “QvdQlikShared-Content” has got changed to “QvdQlikShared-Content (americas_thedforj)”.

It needs to be revert back to original..

Please help on this how to revert to back to original.

goto qmc then select data connections.

select the connection -> edit

rename like you need

Hi there

You can manually update the Connection Name in the QMC. Go to Data Connection, select the one you want, Click on Edit, Select the part in the name you don't want and simply delete it.

Thanks for all your replies. I have done the change.

But the user asking me why the changes been happened.

So will be there any chance again to change.

Standard behavior, so yes, any time someone changes/creates a Data Connection in Hub it will append their UserID and you need to use CMC to remove it
