Qlik Sense Server Connection to folder (invalid)

Hi all,

I have installed Qlik Sense on a virtual Server. Some data is saved on other virtual Servers.

Now I want a new data Connection to another Server. Therefor i have a technical Admin user which has Access to all other Servers. Only Problem is that in Qlik Sense I cant create a new Connection (error message: invalid Path).

Do you have any idea why this happens? Actually I work by remote on the Server and from there I get Access to the others Servers.

Could you access share folder from Qlik Sense Server by Qlik services user?

Hi,

Yes, the Service user has Access to all folders in the Server where qlik sense is installed. Only outside the Server it doesn't work.

There some miss understood between you and me

Examlpe:

QlikServer Name: QSServer Qlik Service User: QlikSense

outside Server Name: FileServer. IP: x.x.x.x

Outside Folder Name: ShareFolder 

Please check:

Could you access to \\FileServer\ShareFolder  from QSServer from RUN dialog using user QlikSense?

if NO please share access permission to  \\FileServer\ShareFolder for QlikSense user
