Qlik Sense Two Domain Connectors Authentication

Hello Qlik-Experts,

Do you have any experience with Qlik Sense managing users from two different Active Directory domains or granting access to apps?

Specifically, we have an A domain and a B domain.

Currently we only get users from the A domain, so A domain PCs don't have to explicitly specify the domain when logging into Qlik Sense.

PCs in the B domain therefore need to specify B\username for login. Would it be possible with a 2nd AD Connector to import users from the B domain so that B domain PCs can authenticate with username only?

Thank you for your support!

Best regards Son

Hi Son,

The authentication is done at the windows level and not Sense, so i'm afraid this is not possible as user from  domain B will have to specified the domain.

Maybe using SAML Authentication could be the solution to your problem.

Hi Euegene,

thanks for the links - Looking at the links in your article if you use the Advanced LDAP functionality will users have SSO from both domains or only one domain?

Thanks
