I have encountered this on a number of occasions as I have been working through my first solution developed in Qlik Sense, where when moving objects around the application locks up and you need to just exit and are not able to save changes. If I move an object by stretching it's edges one at a time I have had no problem but when I try to drag the whole chart to a new location, 1 time out of 3 it will lock up. Extremely frustrating, hope this is a bug that is being addressed in the next release.
Hi Mark
I and others at my client site have experienced the same issue, it's either a QS bug or a browser issue.
Are you using QS Server or desktop ? Our issue is at the Server development level.
In the end the fix is abort the session and open a new one. In theory your sheet should be saved at least
up to the point when you started moving the object around.
Not an answer really, but you are not alone with the issue, perhaps Qlik could look into this.
cheers
Paul
Hi Mark,
It would be beneficial if you raise a ticket with Qlik regarding this.
How do you raise a ticket?
I am in Desktop. Unfortunately it seems you need to explicitly save regularly as in my case it did not close and save, just closed. Thanks
Correct, desktop has be saved manually, but on the server the save is dynamic (except in the data load editor).
If my memory serves me correctly I may have already logged a ticket for the issue in amongst other issues I logged from my client site.
cheers
Paul
