Qlik Sense slow response time

I’m having issues with the amount of time it’s taking to load dashboard items in my QlikSense apps. The visuals look like the image attached below (i.e. greyed out) for ages and sometimes doesn’t respond at all. Sometimes it appears like the problem has resolved itself and then it happens again. My internet speed is fine, I’ve restarted my machine, however, I still get the same issue. Is this a common problem? If so, is there a solution?

Such behaviour is usually caused from an unsuitable data-model and/or UI design. Ideally it would be a star-scheme data-model and only normal aggregations like sum() or count() are used as expressions. Therefore I recommend to review this application.
