Hi all,
we are in a transition phase from QlikView to QlikSense.
All new projects we try to built in QlikSense. We also many QlikView Apps in place, which are used by wide range of users.
The question we are facing very often is: "Why do I need two licenses - a QlikView and a QlikSense license?"
For users and managers it is all Qlik technology, and difficult to explain, why they have to buy two licenses.
When it comes to mashups it is getting even more difficult to explain, why to buy an additional license.
Any suggestions how to handle this?
I know about the binary load option in Sense, but will not solve the issue.
BR,
Bernd
Have a word with your Qlik Account Manager. Especially about converting you QlikView Licences into Qlik Sense CAL's as your migration progresses and your QlikView usage declines.
Hi Bill,
I know about the converting option.
But then it is still ether-or.
In our landscape users will consume data from QlikView and QlikSense.
BR,
Bernd
If your users are using both then you need to licence both.
