I am using Qliksense Business and my data source is 3 different excel files placed on windows server.
How to create connection to the folder from Qliksense. Should It be a shared folder? I want my client to just place the new files every month at a particular location on a server and dashboard data gets refreshed. How to achieve this.

You have two options to automate the data on SaaS. You can:
1) Use Qlik Data Transfer (QDT) tool. It can monitor any local folder and upload the new files immediately, and start a app loading script. Download it directly from you Profile Setting in Qlik Sense Bussing tenant.
2) Use a shared folder at any web storage service, like AWS-S3, DropBox, Google Drive or OneDrive. In this case you can just create a connection in app to load the data and schedulling it in SaaS.
