Qliksense showing connection lost in Firefox

Hi All

We have integrated Qliksense with the Liferay Portal and the log in is being managed using SSO.

Dashboards are opening fine in the Chrome Browser and Microsoft Edge browser but we are getting the error while opening the same in the Firefox browser.

Getting the Pop up as 'Connection Lost Make Sure the Qlik sense is running properly' .

When we open the Qlik directly without using SSO or reverse proxy then it's opening fine in Firefox also but when we do open the Qlik through reverse proxy using SSO then it's giving us the error.

Is there any specific setting is required to be done for the Firefox browser specifically.
Please guide.

Thanks in advance

Hello,

this setting could be a start to set the WebsocketPingIntervall to e.g. 30

for more details see:

best regards

Sebastian

Thanks for your revert @Sebastian_Linser

I checked the article shared and made the changes in Proxy.exe (values ranging from30 to 300), but still getting 'connection lost' error in the firefox.

I checked the network tab when the error is popped up and there getting the message for wss call 'unable to route the http request to the following URL..........'. But not getting this message while opening the same dashboard using the same procedure in Chrome or edge.

Hello @manish_2991

one more idea is here to check that you didn't limit Firefox to have 0 or 1 WebSocket https://jonlabelle.com/snippets/view/markdown/how-to-disable-websockets-in-firefox

and if that is confirmed as a next step use the WebSocket connectivity tester to see if it gets established successfully.

https://community.qlik.com/t5/Official-Support-Articles/Qlik-Sense-Websocket-Connectivity-Tester/ta-...

if it shows all green in the test and the number of websockets is not 0 or 1 then open a ticket with the Qlik Support for further investigation.

best regards

Sebastian
