Hi, I'm new to QlikView and I'm trying to figure out what are realistic specs regarding RAM usage in single o multi node installation in the server. I have found the minimum requeriments: " 32- bit =1GB Minimum. Depending on data volumes o more may be required. 64-bit = 4Gb Minimum. Depending on data volumes more may be required. The note say's:QlikView is an in-memory analysis technology; memory requirements for QlikView products are directly related to the quantity of data being analyzed." How can I mesure the real quantity of RAM that i need for a large operation with lots of users??
That's a very open question, I would suggest that you check the contents in the QlikView Scalability group where our experts in hardware sizing are posting their recommendations for all things hardware.
Note that the minimum requirements are those to be met so the service runs, but not to analyze data.
