REST API connection

I am using Qlik Sense Desktop June 2017 version. I am unable to make connection through REST connector. I tried through Data Manager & Data Load Editor. It tries for a while & responds me saying that connector is not responding and contact the administration. What could be the reason & how to resolve it.
