Save a Current Selection to a QVD

Hi !

There's any way, but macro, that take a selection and save as qvd?

Could be an extension, method, anything.

I saw this extension to export to a Excel, But i can select the destination, so its not useful to me.

I am not aware of an option to do this.  You can save to a QVD in the load script.  But the only option in the app for a user is to export to excel or pdf.

There might be an extension out there.

I can save a qvd in the load script, but as far as i know, not the current selection. And i need to select some fields and then save it on qvd

Like I said I don't know how you could do that.  You want to save it from the app after the user makes selections.  If I understand you correctly. 

There might be an extension out there that would allow you add a button to your app to export the data.  But I am not aware of anything.

If you don't mind me asking.  What is the reason that you want to be able to do this?  What are you trying to do?

Well, long history, but the short version:

My boss want to get some analisys from qlik sense and set some strutions.

Ex:

If my table are get this:

Input:

Id          Name       Problem              Area

13477     Motor     Out of Stock     Choose Area

Output:

  Id          Name       Problem              Area

13477     Motor     Out of Stock     Comercial

Where Area will be choose after QVD load

Then i need to reload to save this new information on my qvd, to other areas could see

I dont agree, Qlik Sense is a visualization tool, but i'm not in charge lol.

One solution(not simple) coud be to create a macro to save the current selection into txt for example and the convert to qvd that txt
