I've been asked the question as to whether we can upgrade to server 12 but wanted to check if our current setup will be able to handle it. So I've look at the system requirements and noted them below
Microsoft Windows Server 2008 R2 - OK
Intel Core 2 Duo or higher recommended – XEON 6 Core - OK
4 GB RAM - 32GB on Portia - OK
Disk space – 69GB free on C:, 125GB free on E: -OK
Microsoft Internet Explorer 11** - OK
Microsoft IIS 7, 7.5, 8 or 8.5 – No IIS
- 4.5 or higher (we have .net framework 3.5.1)
SQL Server 2005, 2008 or 2012 – No SQL
Microsoft Office 2010 is installed, as well as Visual Studio Tools for Office 2010.
With the 3 areas missing will we have any issues?
