Service Accounts vs Service Principal

Hi there, 

Has anyone had experience setting up a Qlik Sense site with a service principal/managed identity rather than a service account?

We have a client concerned about the security implications of a service account, and they are decommissioning all service accounts in the organisation, including those that run Qlik Sense. 

Is this possible, or should I advise them to make an exception for Qlik Sense?
