Stream creation

Good morning,

i would like to create many streams and insert the right users in them.

To do so i need to:

1) Go to Custom properties--> create a new stream by --> defining a name 'General stream' ; selecting stream in resource types and in the values ' area insert, for example, 'stream A', 'STREAM b', 'STREAM C' (so i have different kind of streams);

2)then i need to go to every user, edit them by selecting  the right stream in 'General stream'. For example 'user bill' for strean A, user Paul for stream B and so on...

Am i right?

If you are creating streams where users have access to all the applications withing the stream, just create a stream in the QMC.  When you create the stream, a security rule will be assigned to the stream and you can add users/groups to that security rule.  That is all you need to do.

If you want to create a stream and allow users to see different applications within the stream, you would use Custom Properties ( tutorial ).  When you use Custom Properties, you need to create custom security rules.
