Take few columns from different sheet by using unique column in both

Hi all

I need to create a calculated field to take data from different sheet by using a particular column. How to do that?

Hi Dilip,

Please find attached Sample file.

Consider A & B as two different tables in Qlik sense.

I need to create a calculated field to update Age, Extension # & Country/State  in Table B with Name as unique.

(Example: Just we do by using Vlookup function in excel).

Not sure what you mean by "calculated field to update Age, Extension # & Country/State"
basically if you load the 2 tables mentioned into qlik it will be automatically linked by the column Name (similar to foreign keys in Database)
or you can join the tables to create a single one

I don't want to create any link between these table just want to take those columns from Table A.

Hi,

 

Load table A;

Load table B rename Name column;

join with table new table which will b resident of table A with different column  names

Renaming of fields need to be done in resident table so that it should not associated with table A.
