The Windows login form is not displayed

Dear.

I need your help.

When we access the domain(qlik.company.com), the Windows login form is not displayed and we log in as a guest.

When we access the IP, the Windows login form is displayed.

Both are registered in whitelist.

Why isn't the window login form displayed when accessing the domain?

Best regard.

Assume the url is the same except for the exclusion of /hub, that would be an invalid URL for a default install of Qlik Sense. The FQDN alone is not a valid URL, unless you setup the infrastructure to make it one, such as with a reverse proxy or some other redirect.

So I return to my previous comment.

This depends on the Virtual Proxies that were set up and if the Domain value selected is an Alias used by a reverse proxy.

As an example, one explanation for this behavior is the IP hits the Central Node and the default VP for the Central Node uses Windows authentication and blocks anonymous access, while the Domain URL is reverse proxied to a Proxy Node the VP for which allows Anonymous access or uses something other than Windows Authentication such as JWT or Header authentication.

Review the Virtual Proxy settings for the site and work with the Network team to determine what the endpoint for the Domain URL is.

These would be my suggestions for investigating this issue.

There is no one singular answer from the information provided seeing as there are multiple ways to set up access to a Qlik Sense server.

This depends on the Virtual Proxies that were set up and if the Domain value selected is an Alias used by a reverse proxy.

Hello Nick.

Thank you for your answer.

I did some tests in my browser.

If I use the default Chrome, I log in as a guest.
But when I use enter a domain in the Private Chrome, I meet window login form as pops up.

Results vary depending on my browser's type(default chrome vs Private chrome).

What's the problem?

Best Regard.

Again, without more specific details this sounds like a saved password or cached data on your browser.
Clear your browser's cache and see if that helps.

When I access the "qlik.company.com/hub", the Windows login form is displayed.

but when I access the "qlik.company.com", the Windows login form is not displayed and I am automatically logged in as a guest.
