To limit the data when downloading a dashboard with section access

Hi Experts,

Is it possible to reduce data of a dashboard when downloading by an authenticated user from access point?

We have prepared a dashboard with section access. It has been published to server and access right has been granted to a group of users. User can only access the data which is assigned to him/her. For example, userA can only access Country='A', userB can only access Country= 'B', … The dashboard works as expected. Now, we want to let user to download the dashboard and allow them to open the dashboard locally. Password is required when open the dashboard.

Now, the problem is, it seems it will download the full set of data when downloading the dashboard from access point. Is it possible to cut dashboard data according to user assigned country(country is just an example only) when performing download, please?

I don't thinks it's possible to automatically reduce when downloading. However, Section Access reduction will still apply when opened locally.

Do you have Publisher?  If so, you might consider using Loop and Reduce instead of Section Access.  Then you will have reduced files for download.
