Just wanted to know if there is any difference between union in oracle and concatenate in qlik sense.
HI @jjustingkm
In General, both are same concept.
In Qlikview, we don't want to create any dummy column to make both table has same column. It will generate null values automatically.
And also, if all columns are same in both table & u don't want to merge together, then "No Concatenate" concept helps in Qlik.
Hi @jjustingkm !
There some differences between union in oracle and concatenate in qlik sense.
- I think the main difference is that in oracle union you must have the same collumns in the two queryes. The qlik sense concatenate you can do it even not have any collumns in common.
thats true, but in oracle you can create dummy column to to make both sqls in sync.
