add YOY and Year to Date on date picker

hi all,

has anyone added YOY and year to date to the date picker that comes on the bundle extensions?

I am also interested in adding YOY from the previous month if anyone can help.

I usually approach this requirement by creating a date range field in my data model and using the range field in a listbox (instead of the date picker) like:
