I'm not sure where to post bugs. So please let me know if I should do this differently.
If I've using Sense yesterday, and have not restarted my computer since I closed down the window. I'm not able to start Sense again, 2 QlikSenseBrowser executables appears in the Service list.
I'm also not able to access the hub from a browser. And shutting down all running services does not help, only a restart of the computer helps.
I'm running both 64 bit Windows 7 and Windows 8, with QlikView 11.2 SR7 installed all are VMs . I cannot find any logs from Sense or other relavant stuff?
Torben,
I'm missing there the QlikSense.exe executable that is in C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Programs\Qlik\Sense
You should be able to open it and then see the Hub.
Not doing anything special, just the executable open, I have three processes for Qlik Sense, the former and two QlikSenseBrowser.exe

Miguel,
That works, when I launch using the Task Bar icon nothing happens, the icon in the Start Menu works too. But if right click on the Sense icon, and pin it to the task bar, and launch from there, it does not always work.
Is it a known issue?
Not that I know of. I can understand that, if the PATH variable to Qlik Sense is not set as a global environment variable in Windows, running from the Task Manager will not work. And likely that is the reason to happen when the program is pinned, that it need to be launched in a very strict path.
Anyway, thanks for noticing. I will check with R&D if they know of it.

Another thing which correlates with the Installation on Servers issue, is that it is installed locally on the user account is very uncommon. So its difficult to install for all users of a computer, its just another little thing that makes broad adoption difficult.
I know. But this will be overridden by Qlik Sense Server and Qlik Cloud. Qlik Sense Desktop is intended for personal use. Therefore installing in local folders.
Torben,
I had a similar issue but cannot find my post now. For me the solution was to add the "Start in" path for the shortcut (or was it Target? - I can't remember now) as it was blank.
