geoanalytics data issue (not being plotted)

My data set is clean with all the correct states. The issue is that some states are being displayed in other parts of the world that is not correct. I've changed the property of this state column in my data set (before loading into qlik) to go against CITY and ISO 2. 

My map should only show blue in the USA but instead it is all over. My STATE column are all abbreviated against the ISO 2 city codes.

I've tested it by creating a format on my formula to show STATE, COUNTRY.

= [STATE] & ', ' & [COUNTRY]

Now when I hover over the US it will show that I have 40+ more but I cannot drill down into it and see all the states. I have yet to implement the geoanalytics into our server and using this against the built in map visualization.

Any guidance is absolutely obliged.
