how to set column name into a date format?

Hi, I have column names that are in date format such (Jan-2016, Feb-2016), however when I upload the data to Qlik sense, it change the column name to a number format. Is there anyway to change it back to date format? The column name might change every time when there are updates. thus it is not practical to rename it using    [XX] As 'Jab-2016'

Why do you want to bring it as a column? I would suggest using a CrossTable LOAD to convert the column into rows and then apply the formatting to it. If you even want to view them as columns, you can use the pivot table to do that

I have the same scenario wherein the data in Excel is in D-MMM-YY in custom format, how can I load it in Qlik Sense in date format also as it loads as texts.
