any idea for creating a master dimension with this description:
Employee.[First Name] " " Employee. [Last name] for employees with sales responsibilities only.
thanks
Please explain as much you can instead of business statement.
I agree with Anil, we don't have enough information to guide you.
How can you determine employees with Sales responsibilities ? From team ? From JobTitle or perhaps they have sales booked against them, please explain more.
Also this would be best done in the load script if possible.
sorry it just I'm over stressed,

Employee.[First Name] " " Employee. [Last name] for employees with sales responsibilities only.
thank you
As I mentioned, this is best done in the load script.
I recommend that you combine First Name and Last Name into one field.
In your Employees table
.... Employee.[First Name]& " " &Employee. [Last name] as EmpName,
...
The loading a new table using a resident load
SalesPeople:
Load EmployeeID,
EmpName as SalesName
Resident Employees where Title like "Sales Representative";
Probably with Qualify statement?
Qualify *;
Employee:
Load "Last Name", "First Name", Title From ....;
UnQualify *;
