question regarding a video learning question about data manager

coloful_architect_0-1689566883081.png

not sure if it is the answer is wrong. otherwise, does that imply if two field values at different tables are the same, the qlik sense system would automatically detect the similarity  and recommend an association.

Idk...feel like the provided answer does not seem correct. anything I miss?

Hi coloful_architect, the answer is correct.

The job of the Data manager is to assist in the creation of the data model.

It will suggest an association between two fields with different names if it detects they contain a sufficient number of records with the same values.

For example, you may have a Customers table with a column named Customer_ID and an Orders table with a column named Cust_Id. In this scenario the Data Manager will suggest an association between the two tables based on the two fields if they contain the same values.

Note that you don't need a 100% correspondence between the values in the two fields. In the example you may have some customers without orders. If enough values are the same the Data manager will still suggest the association.
