shadowing every other row and sorting by measure

I'm shadowing every other row in a straight table measure with: if(even(RowNo()),lightgray(),white()).

But the issue is, after doing this, I'm not able to sort by these measures any more.

Can I both have shadowing every other row and sorting by measure?
