text color expression in table is not applied to totals

Hello,

I am using an expression in a Qlik Sense Table to set the color. The expression is:

If(Sum(EMPOYEENUM)<0,RGB(255,0,0),Green())

The expression works fine except for the total.  Is there something I need to do for the Total line?

The expression does work in a pivot table but I don't want to use the pivot table.
